Edit PDF

Add text or a signature anywhere on a PDF — pick font, size, colour and alignment, drag to position, then export. The original pages are kept at full quality.

How it works

  1. Open a PDF. Pages are previewed in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
  2. Add text or a signature. Choose Text or Signature, then click the spot on the page. Drag to move, double-click text to edit.
  3. Style and export. Pick a standard font or any Google Font, set size and colour, then download edited.pdf.

About PDF Tools

PDF Tools is a small set of free, browser-based utilities for everyday PDF jobs: merging files and adding text or a signature to a page.

Everything runs client-side with pdf-lib and pdf.js. There is no backend, no database and no account.

Privacy

Your files are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics.

The only optional network request is to Google Fonts, and only when you pick a Google font in the editor. Your theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage.
